SPEAKING:

Brendan is eager to share his experiences so that others can learn from his struggles and accomplishments.  He speaks plainly and directly about growing up on the autism spectrum and leading an independent life as an employed young adult with impressive goals and plans.

 

Brendan’s speaks on a variety of important topics, including:

 

• Making the transitions from high school to college as well as working after graduating

• How becoming an accomplished equestrian helped him with focus and perseverance

• Dealing with bullying and other disruptive behaviors

• Learning how to manage on one’s own (without having the benefit of a “lawn mower” parent to help)

• His experience with disability/autism services

• Working with and utilizing service dogs
